What is Space Allowances?

Space Allowances gives you equipment selections and layouts for plantrooms and risers in buildings. It is now licensed in over 100 design offices, creating design solutions at the click of a button.

Quick and easy to use yet highly flexible, our software makes it easy to create equipment layouts, test for clashes and finally output the layout in a variety of formats such as Word, CAD, SketchUp and Revit.

Layouts can be edited to create any shape of plantroom or riser. DXF backgrounds can be imported to assist with this process - particularly useful for refurbishment applications. Output schedules may be customised to include logos etc to suit company requirements and standards.

Revit Tools import Space Allowances solutions into Revit. They create Revit content in the form of families of the generic equipment selections. Family definitions include parameters and connections for systems routing. Instances are located to create solutions and populate the project model, facilitating workflow into BIM.
